About our Company
Today’s farmers face many challenges. Governments, organizations and customers force farmers to reduce chemical residues on crops and improve pest control. This is in an environment where pests are getting more resistant to chemicals and a worldwide concern for the impact of chemicals on bees is growing. Our company aims to provide farmers with affordable and efficacious pesticides that do not harm the environment or leave any residues on crops.  

Job Title Sales Manager 
Location You will be located in Arusha or surroundings.

About the role
As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for sales of our pest control products in Tanzania. The company will be newly formed, and you will be the person on the ground to boost the business and grow it for further expansion. You will visit farmers and explain about our specific products. You will gather farmer groups and cooperatives to do demonstration trials and showcase our products. The focus region will be Arusha and Kilimanjaro, however you have the opportunity to go beyond these regions to establish relations with key-accounts.

If the performance of the company is good, there is a lot of room to grow this company and attract new personnel. You will grow with us.

Key Criteria

  • In order to be eligible you need to possess the following characteristics
  • Reliable personality
  • Affinity with sales
  • Ability to work autonomously 
  • In order to be eligible you need to possess the following background/knowledge
  • Extensive experience within horticulture in Tanzania
  • Knowledge of pests and agrochemicals
  • Knowledge of spoken and written English and Swahili
  • Experience with growing sales regions and managing key accounts
  • It is a must that you are willing to relocate to the area of responsibility.

Salary TSH 2,000,000 per month or higher depending on experience and suitability for the job. On top of this you will receive a company car.

You will also receive an attractive commission on your sales and overall performance.
