Tanzania Postal Bank (TPB) seeks to appoint dedicated, self motivated and highly organized Sales Executive (Agent Network) 30 positions to join the Bank in Marketing Department team. These persons will be Popote Champion who among others will assist in Agent Recruitment and Sales of the Bank products and services. These positions are for:

Reporting Line: Sales Supervisor
Location: Head Office, Dar es Salaam
Work Schedule: As per TPB Staff regulations
Salary: Competitive salary.

Main Purpose of the Job
• To assist in ensuring efficient operations of the sales team proper coordination of sales activities.
• To assist in ensuring that Sales Team are meeting their target on daily,weekly and Monthly basis.
• To assist in ensuring that Sales team are following up their Daily, weekly route plan
• To assist in ensuring compliance of opening new accounts is adhered and to ensure all new accounts are registered in TPB customer Data base (KYC).
• To assist in ensuring that branch managers collect and submits to the Corporation Secretary all security documents after the applicant has accepted the letter of offer.
• To assist in initiating review of business banking appraisal policies and documentation procedures from time to time.
• To assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports that compares actual performance against set targets in respect of growth rate, product mix as well as geographical distribution.
• To assist in the preparation of annual plan and budget for business banking division and provide inputs for preparation of business banking annual projections and reviews.
• To assist in advising Risk Management Department on the review of business banking policies and procedures to be carried out at least once annually.
• To assist in proposing or designing potential new business banking products.
• To assist in providing feedback to branch managers on approval status in respect of loan proposals falling above their approval limits which were submitted to the Head Office for consideration.
• To assist in performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of Credit or by higher authorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-
To ensure that sales target set are achieved through provision of marketing support such as promotions (gazebo), tracking the performance, and training of customer service and sales techniques to sales executives.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:
Education: Diploma or Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in Marketing,Commerce, Accounting, Business administration, Banking or any related discipline from reputable recognized Institute.

Experience:
• The candidate must have a working experience of not less than one year in marketing or sales arena.
• Experience from a financial institution or related discipline will be an added advantage.
• He/She should be computer literate with excellent command of Excel and Word Processing.
• Added skills and certifications in Risk Marketing Activities.
