The People's Bank of Zanzibar limited (PBZ) was established in June 30, 1966 under Cap.153 of the Zanzibar Companies Decree.
The primary function was to carry on the business of commercial banking activities in all of its branches and Departments within Tanzania.
The Bank is currently offering Conventional and Islamic banking services in eight branches in Zanzibar and two branches in Tanzania Mainland, with power to receive deposits, invest, lend money and other related commercial banking.
The Bank is currently undertaking expansion of her services therefore automatically demand the human capital with suitable skills and qualification to fill the following vacant post
CORPORATE RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (2 POSTS)
1. Dar es Salaam/Mainland Station - 1 Post
2. Zanzibar station - 1 Post
Successful candidates will be responsible to achieve the Bank targets on all services and deliver the corporate relationship services as per procedure in order to enhance the profit of the Bank.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out new Business development and identification of potential market segments. .
Maintain daily good banking relationship with existing customers through regular visiting or Telephone calls
Increase Corporate customer's portfolio for both borrowing and non - borrowing.
Organize a constant flow of banking information and business advice to existing customers to enable them optimize their business.
Prepare monthly reports on the customers complains and keep profile for the top ten over whole the bank and the branches and submit to the Management.
Develop valuable bank products to carter corporate customers need.
Prepare and coordinate annual review of the corporate plan and advising the bank accordingly
University graduate preferably in Business Administration (Major in Marketing), or equivalent qualifications obtained from recognized Institutions.
Professional qualification in banking will be added advantage.
EXPERIENCE AND COMPITENCIES REQUIRED
Computer literacy and applications in windows, and other packages.
Interpersonal skills to create and maintain relevant business networks
Knowledge and effective application of PBZ policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines to consistently achieve required compliance standards
Good communication, writing and presentation skills
Knowledge of Corporate Banking Products
Effective communication skills to manage customer expectations (internal and external) and other stakeholders who impact performance
Experience of at least 2 years in Corporate or Customer relationship
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Three years contract (Renewable)
