JOB VACANCY FOR A SALES ENGINEER

ROLE:To supply Customers with the most cost-effective formwork solutions working independently and with Managers to ensure the delivery of budgeted sales and profit margins for the business ensuring sustainable growth


REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
-A Construction Engineering degree with Project Management or a Civil Eng Degree would be advantageous
-Proven ability to handle key accounts
-Technical knowledge at level where confidently deals with any level of Customer
-5 years working experience as a sales representative
-5 years working experience in the building industry -Must be willing to travel to other African countries --Must be extremely trustworthy and reliable
-Must be able to speak Chinese fluently


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
-To identify added value propositions for Sales management to consider
-To retain Customers and secure relationships to achieve key supplier / business partner status
-To take responsibility for quotes, tenders and follow-up to win business
-To close deals effectively having communicated payment terms clearly to Customers
-To report progress on projects, relationships with Customers, and the development of follow-up projects to
Management
-To interpret and understand advanced designs and develop preliminary concepts of formwork and shoring solutions using products and discussing these concepts with the Design department who will
develop drawings and material lists for the project, providing customers with the most cost effective formwork solution
-To assist Credit Control and Sales team without compromising Customer relationships and sales
-To interact and communicate effectively with management and internal departments
-To meet and exceed financial targets
-To execute new projects to the highest possible standard ensuring repeat business on upcoming projects
-To measure profitability by Customer and effectively plan time allocated to each Customer accordingly
-To provide Sales Management with information for Stock requirement forecasting and planning.
