Human Resources Officer

Mobisol’s products combine solar energy with innovative mobile technology and microfinance. Mobisol is currently serving over 50,000 customers in Tanzania and Rwanda. Our largest operations are in Tanzania where Mobisol has established a strong sales base as well as a qualified and highly motivated local team of over 250 employees. Mobisol Ltd was established in 2013 to foster and expand our operations within the Tanzanian market and accompany our growth through East Africa.

Mobisol Uk Ltd is looking for a Human Resources Officer to be based at our national Office located in Arusha region.

The Human Resources (HR) Officer handles HR administration, recruits staff, and ensures proper
on- and off-boarding.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 The organisation of medical check-up for new and existing employees
 Proper on and off boarding of staff including their asset administration (email, laptop, etc.),
working permits, and exit interviews
 The coordination of appraisal, absence management, grievance, payroll management (handin-hand with Finance Department), benefits (communication with social security and insurance companies
 Conducting pperformance evaluations for Middle and Junior Staff
 Conducting HR Administration (CV/HR database, manual personnel files, the organizational
chart, and other information)
 Coordinating staff events
 Checking documents, employee records, and requests against HR policies and regulatory
requirements (e.g. documenting employee contracts and aligning them with national laws
and regulations)
 Single Point of Contact for all documents regarding expats
 Provide employees with guidance and answers to common HR questions
 Participates in HR Projects

Job requirements
 Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related fields
 Working experience in similar post as a recruitment specialist and/or generalist in HR
 Knowledge of the local and regional Labour laws
 Excellent communication skills on all levels
